Jay is doing pretty well. He is getting use to the jet lag and has been reuniting with old friends. He is also helping the local orphanage. A passion he has had since he first visited the country. With the US dollars high value in Tanzania, Jay has been able to purchase mattresses for the children which made a significant improvement to their quality of life.
With only 12 days to go many of is fellow climbers will be spending Christmas with their families. Then soon they will be joining Jay and debarking on the trek up the mountain.
